Mine are getting in the danger zone, side walls are thin and I'm at the point of nervous on Interstate at 80+ mph. Time to re-up.
I don't drive personal truck much with company vehicle so everytime I need tires, they go up $hundreds from last time.
Its a specialty lo-profile for my lowered truck. Bitches wanted $900 for 4 tires at 3 places I called. Was about to order them online, then bring the tires to be installed. Woulda saved $150. Had to give up my pretty Toyo Proxes for some Goodyear bland ass tread for $675. Rubber isn't as soft, so no more curb hugging corners in the rain. And doing 25mph over in dead mans turns.
Trying to convince myself to just deal with it and save the money. Vehicle cosmetics should not be a priority after 30 and they have to be replaced soon. Plus the truck only gets 3,000 miles a year.
