I was going to try and restretch and fix the liner myself, but with the plastic part that the liner is supposed to slide over to stay up is snapped clean off.. I cant do shit. lol. Going to have to call a pro to fix it. ****ing lame. The amount of liner off the pool is literally half the pool (24' diameter above ground pool).

Had a pool guy come over my house Sunday. He only had 3 parts of the stuff that the liner hooks onto with him. He emptied the pool out and re attached the liner to his new pieces and he tried to salvage some of the stuff that was up there by cutting off the cracked parts. It was all back together and looking good.
He says "If the liner pops out again, which it might where the older stuff is you will have to buy more pieces and you can do it yourself. You seen how I did it. Just go to Lighthouse pools or Leslies pool supply and se if they have any Beaded recievers in stock".
Filling pool that night, liner pops. Got about 5 inches in the pool when it popped. It was 11pm. Stop filling the pool. Monday comes. Run up and buy the last 4 pieces of this receiver stuff that either store he mentioned had in stock. Just to enough to cover where the old shit was and was falling apart. Start re-emptying the pool so we can lift the liner and make it easier. Water weighs AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF WEIGHT lol. 5 inches in a 24' diameter pool is a LOT of water lol. I get home Monday around 6pm and try to stretch the liner. About kill myself. Storms come and it is pouring rain. F*CKING GREAT.
Keep emptying the pool. Tuesday (today) comes and its supposed to be cloudy until afternoon. Okay. The pool liner is now just barely able to make it up to the receiver area. This is where I now am breaking all my fingers into pieces to lift this stupid ass liner and shove it into this crevis known as the beaded receiver. 4 hours later Ive done about 1/4 of the my pool and have finished doing what I needed to do with the liner. Ive got holes in my fingers where skin should be.
I annihilated my fingers but my pool liner is properly fixed and filling up at the moment. PRAY nothing pops out or snaps off. lol.

If you ever need help, I live like 2 minutes away lol. And I feel a little like a stalker but I noticed that you opened your pool late this year
Yeah. Opened ours late. I really never use it. And like mentioned, liner busted off but I got it back on.
Its functional now.
How big is your pool vette?

Im 5'11" and the pool comes to my chest. Probably 48".
Ours is 24' diameter.. Did I mentioned that in the first post? I cant remember. You should see how ghetto my filter is. Ill snap a pic tomorrow during the day. The Air pressure gauge stopped working years ago. lol. Usually release the air from the top with a bolt, but this year couldnt find a bolt that fit right. Screwed a garden hose faucet onto the top of it and wedged it in with teflon tape. lmao. Works great though. Filter tank is 10+ years old.

I still can't believe that I met someone on C4B that lives a half mile away. That was so weird. He had put a city near us as his home town, so I asked and it ended up we lived on the same road in a more rural area.
