That stubbs guy was cool, except the; "can we play an objective mode, these tdm games are over in seconds and going 8-3 isn't fun." lol
I can't talk smack for sh!t, my best so far has been; "Sorry, I can't hear you when you're all the way down there at the bottom of the score board"
Yeah, a light went on for me when I kept hearing that.
I enjoy objective modes, and not for the same reason others like them.
I hazard a guess more like them because they can get the 1337 streaks which get them 1337 kdr's etc.
I like them because they MAKE the team work as a team.
In TDM, we just work as a team...it's automatic. It's organic.
Game starts and we flow. I know where everyone is, and trust that that red dot behind me is going to be taken out by the blue arrow coming his way.
In objective modes, none of us care about anything other than winning the game. So we cap all Domination points. We power through every HQ. We cap, we win, then we play around if we feel like it.
If things get thick and heavy, we hunker down and break out the fundamentals.
Others like the big streak modes because they can become a superstar.
Not saying that about Stubbs. I dont' know him.
But experience has taught me that objective modes, which are team based by definition, end up being a one man show.
Who cares if you just lost that domination game, had ZERO caps. People gasp at the 89-2 score.
The individual is the winner.
I like knoing that although I died as soon as the HQ was capped, I got the cap and maybe saved a more capable team mate from dying....or that I was the last one on it taking the last grenade before it capped....
TDM is fast, it's fun and it highlights what a team can do when they just rock the show.
6 guys going between 12-15 kills each shows that we just click.
It is awesome.
But we need to talk down to the d-bags....but be more light-hearted with the dudes just kicking it on COD. Some might be decent rushers and, eventually, decent LA members. But we'll never know if we kick them in the balls in the game, then again in the lobby, then again in the game and again in the lobby.
Maybe they rushed hard. We're a hard crew to beat.
We should save the trash talking for the trash players.
