My aunt is in North Carolina, that's pretty much perfect. Gets up to 90 in the summer but down to the 50s and 60s in the winter.
Last year they got a dusting of snow, and the whole area basically shut down. Around here, people take their Honda Civics out in 8 inches of fresh powder.
Its 90 by April and doesn't fade til mid October sometimes pushing Nov.
Pretty common to have that happen with warm winds aimed the right way up the mountains.
We usually have a run at -40F. Never happened this winter, but -30 was our daytime high during Christmas.
Looked up our winter average:
27F for January.
Today is 19, with wind, feeling like 10. Pretty average...light jacket weather.
though, I wouldn't advise living in Ga. either, for much different reasons...LOL

More beautiful women for me to look at and/or pleasure.
Lakes are fcking freezing cold, even in August.
We'll hit 90's in August, and for me, as a downhill mountain biker, being all armored up, means I ain't riding.
In the winter....yeah, I'd like to fck off from here to someplace warmer, but we don't have it all that bad in the winter months. Cold spells are tolerable because they are short lived.
Places east, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, are fcking fck off cold. Sustained temps in -30 range, with tons of snow.
We get Chinook winds that can take us from like, -5F to close to 60F in under 24 hours.
We got 10" of snow last week. Most of it melted over the week being above freezing for most of it. We do have it good....the further west you go from us, the better it generally is. East can fck itself.
Also, there is nothing like using a pick axe to break up the frozen horse poop on the ground.
