If it took them "weeks" just to get the hitmarker noise right, what chance did they have for getting 18 players in a lobby, all in different areas with different pings, shooting different weapons at each other right?
Game needs a 2 year dev time, not the year turnaround.
I know that each dev has basically 2 years but part of that is taken up with dlc, new game won't get the green light till sales are in and contracts have been signed up.
I'd hazard a guess that after all the extras are removed, game probably gets a 16 month development time? Just isn't enough IMO, too many new flashing lights and bells and whistles are worked on rather than getting the core mechanics right.
