I only ever play MP COD....BO was gahbage.
MW3, IMO, is like 1/10th an improvement. So, not much.
Betting BO2 will have some pretty-ness to it, but their frame rate will degrade everything so much that it''ll be BO all over again.
Jumping back to the issue of black ops 1, being shot at before anybody should even be seeing you, negating the effect of reflexes and hand-eye coordination. Hopefully if there IS any lag compensation, it won't be as terribly noticeable like it was in the first BO. Because even in MW3, Lag comp didn't treat me nowhere near as bad as it did in blops.
Different beasts altogether.
In BO, IO can't control a weapon. Sensitivity 4-8, feels like it varies every step. Can't make crisp movement. Gun never goes where I want it to go. Stops shy of target, or blows past. Best description I can come up with is it feels "fuzzy".
Auto-death, curvy bullets were the norm for 20+ days of play. most of the time, I'd die to people 6' in front of me, whe weren't even on my screen, but killcam showed them there for at least a few seconds.
MW3, I can control my weapon more consistently. Feels tighter and more crisp. However, I die. All the time. Bad spawns are one thing, but I dont' have a fighting chance at winning any gunfight because I'm in a completely different time zone.
I've had ONE game in the last, maybe, hundred where I got 7 kills where I was like, damn, I'm not 2 seconds behind. Someone joined the lobby on the other team, and back I was to a 2 second deficit.
BO2 will have a lot to overcome, since they had an inferior feel to begin with.
